Description/History – Our Basil (ct. Methyl chavicol) is more specific to anti-inflammatory and muscle soreness. It is quite different than your standard Sweet Basil. This oil is meant for topical use with adults and older children with dilution. Its Latin name means “king”. It is an oil of renewal for both body and mind. This can be a great oil for when one is feeling overwhelmed, fatigued or experiencing muscle tension or soreness.

    Common Uses

    • When feeling fatigued apply 1-2 drops diluted with carrier oil over kidney area. Apply also to hands and breathe in.
    • May be helpful for minor earaches. Apply 1 drop with dilution around the exterior of the ear and down the sides of the neck.
    • Diffuse when needing to focus to help limit mental fatigue.
